Just Another Day

It was the usual Thursday morning and I started my day pretty same way, getting up late, finishing up dusting. Done with the breakfast and as my mom had gone out for navratra's puja, me and my sister were watching the television series F.R.I.E.N.D.S, because mom never allows us to waste our time like that, so whenever shez not home we utilize that time. Anyways while our eyes and ears were totally stuck to the screen, I got a mail from 'Axis Bank'. Well, it was not an ordinary sales mail or something, this was the mail I've been waiting from long time. It was regarding my selection for the 'Young Banker's Program- 5th batch', which included that after one year of training and a diploma I'll become the employee of the bank. Though, the interview was pretty easy I had lost hopes about the call. may be because I've been waiting for something like this to happen from a very long time but could not see it coming. But, finally the wait and the work paid off. I got the call. But now I was confused and this was because of the fee payment the institute was demanding was 3lacs and I was not sure if I should go for it, considering I already own a MBA degree. Anyways with lots of discussions, long distance calls, innumerable texts, I finally made the decision of joining the course. I figured, with so much of competition in the market and large number of applicants coming for the banking sector, it would be quiet difficult to get another job anytime soon and after one year of doing nothing I could not just sit at home for another year. So, I prepared myself for joining the course and work for the bank.
